“Israeli persecution of Palestinians in occupied Palestinian land is one of the worst examples of Human Rights Depravation” – Former US President, Jimmy Carter

A former President of the United States of America, Jimmy Carter has declared that Israeli persecution of Palestinian land is one of the worst examples of Human Rights depravation. He was talking in a Television feature program, HardBall on MSNBC. Mr. Carter described Israel as an occupier force who confiscated and occupied the Palestinian land. “It doesn’t belong to Israel,” he said.

Mr. Carter said Israel is building settlements on a land that doesn’t belong to them, and that amounts to colonisation. “What is being done to the Palestinians right now is horrendous, in their own territorry by the occupying power, which is Israel,” the former President said. He lamented that the people of America never know about it, so never discuss it, there is no debate about it and consequently there is never a condemnation of Israel.
