Sheikhs Zango, Abdulhamid Grace Sit Out As Children Decorate The Scene

Today’s Daily Free Zakzaky Sit Out campaign by a conglomeration of groups led by Concerned Nigerians at the Unity Fountain in Abuja was decorated by a free Zakzaky procession by school children, mainly in their school uniforms, whose procession came to meet the sit out at the venue.

The Children, who were mostly between seven and thirteen years, marched from the Federal High Court area into the Unity Fountain, chanting “Free our leader,” “Free our parents” and “Buhari obey court order” among other slogans. They also carried a large banner and several posters with similar inscriptions.

There presence caught the attention of the audience who stood to cheer them as they made their way to the front of the sit out to the admiration of all present.

Sheikh Abdullahi Zango, who was making his speech at the time had to remain silent for a while in salutation of these children. He later saluted their courage and called on the tyrannical leaders to heed to the call of these children by releasing Sheikh Zakzaky and all those in detention since the brutal attacks on members of the Islamic Movement in December of 2015.

In his own remarks at the occasion, Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello, who also graced the sit out, specially thanked the organizers of the Sit Out, the Concerned Nigerians especially Prince Deji and his team for this show of humanity.

He later talked on Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud Turi, one of the victims of the genocide in Zaria, describing him as a true Nigerian, a fine gentleman, a reputable scholar, who dedicated his entire life to the service of Islam. He said Sheikh Turo has been the prime disciple of Sheikh Zakzaky, and he followed the leader with conviction for the past forty years until he was martyred at the Gyellesu residence of the leader.

There were also presentations by the Youth forum of the Islamic Movement.
