Today’s daily free Zakzaky Sit out was very colourful, with some of the narrations full of lessons. Some of the speeches were given by Mal Abdulrahaman Yola, the head of the Free Zakzaky Campaign Committee, Prince Deji, and the Secretary of the Media Forum of the Islamic Movement, Mal Abdulmumin Giwa among others. Massive Free Zakzaky Procession Held Across Northern Nigerian Towns

Today Tuesday 23th January, 2018 witnessed some momentous free Zakzaky processions carried out in virtually every major town of Northern Nigerian towns. Processions were held in the three geopolitical zones of the country in over sixty towns and villages across the vast northern states. The processions ended peacefully everywhere except in Zaria, where police shot teargas to disperse the peaceful marchers. There were also reports of some arrests by the Police in Zaria.

IHRC urges High Commissioner in London to meet to discuss health of Sheikh Zakzaky

IHRC has written to the Nigerian High Commissioner in London asking for an urgent meeting to discuss the health of the ailing leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim el-Zakzaky. The sheikh suffered a stroke earlier this month aggravating an already poor state of health and prompting supporters to ask that he be freed from detention to receive medical treatment. Today, the Daily Free Zakzaky Sit Out campaign attendees at the Unity Fountains were moved to profuse tears when Muslim sisters took the stage narrating their harrowing experiences during the daily December 12-14, 2015 Zaria massacre.
