Govt Not Comfortable With Abuja Free Zakzaky Sit Out – Police

The Nigerian Police has said categorically that the government is not comfortable with the the daily Sit-Out to demand the release of Sheikh Zakzaky that has been taking place at the Unity Fountain, Abuja. This was stated while granting ‘bail’ to the Convener of the Sit Out, Prince Deji Adeyanju on Friday. We Strongly Condemn Police Attack On Our Abuja Sit Out Campaign

A contingent of combat ready Policemen, led by the Abuja Police Commissioner, armed with dangerous weapons, batons, shields, hot water cannon and dogs, with some policemen even on horses, yesterday 13/04/18, took over the Unity Fountain, intent on stopping the daily Free Zakzaky Sit Out convened by a coalition of groups led by the Concerned Nigerians.
