Spot The Difference: Who’s Civil And Who’s Violent?

Each time well-armed police use brute force to quell a peaceful protest by unarmed citizens, the Press terms it a “clash.” This is gross injustice of the highest order. Brutal clampdown is not violent clash.

To this end, we bring two different views of the same scenery for you to spot the differences and judge for yourselves who is civil and who is violent:

Combat ready policemen, armed to the teeth with lethal weapons as they advanced on peaceful protesters in front of NHRC, Abuja.

Free Zakzaky protesters in front of the NHRC Abuja, with nothing more than posters

Policemen took position to unleash their lethal load

Officials of the NHRC Abuja came out to listen to civil peaceful protesters make their case
