Medical Team Of Islamic Movement Organizes Mass Blood Donation Campaign, Donates Over 50 Pints To Needy

The medical team of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, better known as ISMA MEDICAL CARE INITIATIVES, has embarked on a mass blood donation campaign in Saminaka, Kaduna state yesterday, 26th July, 2018.

The campaign yielded over 50 pints of different blood groups, which was subsequently donated to the needy for onward transfusion to save their lives.

This came only a few hours after a joint operation of the military and police were sent by Kaduna state governor, Mr. Nasiru Elrufai to spill the blood of members of the Movement in Zaria as they mourned the July 25, 2014 massacre by the military.

Regular blood donation campaign is only part of the activities engaged by ISMA Medical Care Initiatives to save the lives of others in different parts of the country even as they are hunted for theirs to be spilled.

In the recent past before the brutal clampdown on members of the Movement, members of the Islamic Movement were certified by the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) as the largest single blood donation body in the country.

Typically, hundreds of pints of blood were routinely donated by the members of the Islamic Movement during their programs especially in Zaria, Kaduna and Kano.
