Hundreds of Islamic Movement Members Voluntarily Donate Blood

It was hundreds of members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria that turned up to voluntarily donate blood to save the lives of the needy in Kano, all as part of the solemn occasion of this year’s Ashura mourning session. Similar blood donation campaigns are earmarked in many other places across the country. It has been the practice to voluntarily donate hundreds of pints of blood during Ashura and other programs of the Islamic Movement to the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) for onward use for needy Nigerians in hospitals.
