A mammoth crowd today graced the 28th annual Martyrs’ Day celebration of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria in Abuja to honour their departed heroes.
The occasion, which was the second in succession being marked in Abuja, was followed by a huge free Zakzaky protest in the heart of the Capital city.
In his speech at the close of the event, the Head of the Martyrs Foundation (Shuhada Foundation) Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello, said that inevitably, blood will triumph over bullets.
In attendance were very many scholars of the Islamic Movement including Sheikh Yakubu Yahaya Katsina, Sheikh Abdullahi Zango and Professor Abdullahi Danladi among others.
It ended peacefully and people dispersed to their various destinations.
