Free Zakzaky Procession Defiantly Holds Again Today In Abuja Despite Police Brutality

Even as police tried to prevent a peaceful free Zakzaky procession today again, thousands of members of the Islamic Movement came out for the procession, chanting slogans and carrying banners and posters.

Due to an unusually large turnout of marchers, the procession was broken into two, with the first part held in Wuse and the other carried out towards Sky Memorial, all in Abuja.

The two arms of the protest March was completed without an incidence, although police arrived the Wuse part later and started indiscriminately firing tear gas at people. There was no report of casualties.
