Protests Greet Buhari In UN Visit As His Speech Is Adjudged Hollow, Full Of Ironies

Nigerian activists and other concerned Nigerians carried out what has been tagged Nigeria Must Be Free Protests this evening at the United Nations (UN) in New York as Nigerian President, General Muhammadu Buhari delivered his speech at the General Assembly.

The speech meanwhile has been adjudged to be hollow and full of old rhetorics of fighting corruption, even as the high corruption fever has caught up with the Presidency full time, with not only well known corrupt politicians included in his cabinet, but his Vice President entangled in a corruption fight.

The protest was later extended to the Nigerian High Commission in NEW York.
