Policemen opened fire early this morning on Ashura mourning procession in Kaduna wounding several people. The procession was commenced in the early hours of today to avoid involving other citizens since the police in Kaduna was vehement in it’s opposition to the Shi’ites conducting it’s religious rites in the state.
