Army Seeks To Hide Spokesman, Kukasheka; Replaces Him

In what appears to be a sinister tactical move, the indicted Nigerian Army has started redeployment of key officers who have been identified to have played key or commanding roles in the Zaria massacre of December, 2015.

The aim, according to our source, is to make them less visible to the public until such a time when the matter of the Zaria mass killings and their roles in it is totally forgotten.

Consequently, a new spokesman has been appointed for the Nigerian Army to replace the embattled

Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman, who is said to be proceeding to the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos to attend Senior Executive Course 40

, where he will lie low. His position will be taken over by Brigadier General J.T.E. Chukwu.

Brig Gen Kukasheka was in the thick of the plots that resulted in the infamous Zaria massacre that resulted in massive loss of lives of Nigerian citizens and destruction of property. He was promoted to his present rank after the Zaria roles he played.

Ever since the completion of the preliminary investigation by the International Criminal Court’s Chief Prosecutor, the Nigerian government has been seeking a means to trivialize the matter, while looking for ways to minimize the mention of “Free Zakzaky” which they see as an embarrassing reminder of the massacre.

However, we will continue to bring you all the developments as they occur.
